ESET Refreshes Online Scanner

DELHI, May 21, 2009 – ESET, the leader in proactive threat protection, has released a major refresh of ESET Online Scanner – its next-generation free utility packed with new functionality. ESET Online Scanner has traditionally been used to detect malicious software (malware) other antivirus companies have missed, or to serve as a "second opinion" to verify a detected piece of malware. ESET Online Scanner has widened its global appeal with enhanced browser support, now supporting Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari in addition to Internet Explorer.
