Remote Administrator Beta

Public Beta 1 of ESET Remote Administrator, the latest version of ESET’s enterprise management tool for ESET software is now available for testing. This release adds the following new features and functionality:

  • Support for additional database servers (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
  • License Manager
  • Notification Manager
  • Policy Manager
  • Read-Only Console Access
  • Compatible with ESET Smart Security, ESET NOD32 Antivirus, ESET SysInspector and NOD32 v2.7
  • Support for forthcoming ESET products
  • New setup
  • Improved client deleting
  • Improved data transfer scaling
  • Improved ESET Configuration Editor
  • Improved replication
  • Filtering of unregistered computers by domains
  • Server Log Compression (ZIP format)
  • Ability to import replication server list from text file

BETA CONSIDERATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

The beta test version is a precursor of the final product without full functionality and documentation. It is intended for experienced users and should not be installed on computers or networks which perform critical tasks because it may cause errors or crashes.

The ESET Remote Administrator Public Beta 1 software runs on both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) versions of Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.

NOTE: Upgrading from previous builds is not supported in public beta 1. Uninstall your current version of ESET Remote Administrator before installing this release.
